This new design from Thompson Target was created as a defensive training target as well as a training tool for those participating in IPSC (International Practical Shooting Confederation) events.  The official IPSC target is a cardboard target that is quite large and expensive.   It is also quite difficult to see your hits on this target from any distance.  The new HALO IPSC style training target from Thompson allows the shooter to train on the IPSC shape while allowing the shooter to clearly see hits marked by a bright white ring around every bullet hole.  Target appears life-size when placed at half the distance down range so you can easily and accurately simulate shooting at greater distances.
